Re: Basswood Charlie (Busby)

Hi Frank
I thought I would drop you a line to let you know that Busby (Basswood
Charlie) has settled in wonderfully with us in Stratford.
He is growing quickly and getting more playful and energetic by the
day. Our baby Thomas loves him and Busby is so calm and gentle with him,
never complaining if he gets an ear or his tailed pulled!
Busby loves his walks exploring the local countryside and we cant wait
to start going on longer walks as he gets older. He gets so much attention
when we are out and about and he has been very easy to train. He is great
on or off the lead, he sits quietly in the local pub and he was toilet
trained within a few days of coming home with us. He is also wonderfully
affectionate and loves to fall asleep on our feet.
All in all he has been a great addition to the family. I have enclosed
a picture of him in the garden a few days after we picked him up.
Yours gratefully
Keith & Hollie Jackson (& Thomas!). |

Re: Basswood Dusky (Izzy)
.jpg)
We just wanted to drop you an email to say thank you for Basswood Dusky
(Izzy) and to let you know how she's getting on. We've just received her
papers from the Kennel Club, and she's a fantastic part of our family now!
Everyone is amazed by how clever she is; she picked up toilet training
within days (no accidents for 3 weeks now!), and has already learned to
sit, stay, leave things and give her paw. We're hoping to get her to puppy
classes in the near future too.
She can still be a monkey at times but she's simply too adorable to
stay mad at!
Do you know if any of her siblings are in the Manchester area
as it might be nice for her to meet them if they are!
Regards,
Lynsey and Tristan

Re: Basswood Anabella (Willow)
We thought you might like to know how Willow(Anabella) is coming along.
I have been try to get a half decent photo of her before contacting you
but black labs are so difficult. It finally took the snow as a background
to make it work.
We are delighted with Willow, she had some big boots to fill and she
is working very hard to so so. Once she gets past the hole digging
in the lawn and flower beds and stops nicking vegetables from the rack
she will be perfect.
We wish you both a very Happy New Year.
Regards,
Christine and Sarah |

Hi Maureen and Frank
Just a quick note to let you know that Purdy (named after
the shotgun and not the Avengers) has settled in nicely with our
other 3 dogs. She's very quick on retrieve and loves
playing ball. Thank you for a fabulous puppy. I'll keep you
updated on her progress over the coming months |

Re: Basswood Smokey Bracket (ARCHIE)
From: Jane Wilson
Archie thought you might like to see some of his latest photos ahead
of his 4th birthday on 1st September (2011). I can't believe he's
4 already. [SEE LETTERS 6 FOR YOUNGER ARCHIE]
It has been such fun - he's such a character and knows his own mind.
He adores water and sticks and I can't believe there is another dog anywhere
who can sniff out tennis and rubber balls at such distance. He's
amazing - his nose twitches and off he goes and comes back with a ball.
He has an awesome collection! We went on holiday to the Lake District
in June and yet again he attracted so much attention and was told what
a good boy he is. He just sits and looks at other dogs misbehaving
and you can almost see him shaking his head!!!
Anyway all the best to you

Re: Basswood Caboose (Freddie)
From: Ella Hodgson
When Freddie (Basswood Caboose) first came home he was too scared to go
down the garden but, with a little help he made it. He was very playful
and he did and will chew anything he finds. Freddie had an operation to
get rid of a hernia, which did not succeed so, we sent him for another
one. This one succeeded! Freddie coped very well with his first walk, he
was very curious to see his surroundings, but soon made some new friends.
Freddie is now 3 and is a very healthy dog. His favourite thing to do
is chew up our shoes! Also, he eats pedigree chunks to keep him in the
right diet.
Here is a picture of he and I!
Yours faithfully,
Ella Hodgson
PS Coincidently, your granddaughter and I are in the same year at school,
and are very close friends. Today, she is taking me and my friend Becky
to see your new litter! We are so excited and will look after them very
well. |

Hi Frank,
Just thought I would drop you a note about our beautiful boy Oscar,
he has been such an addition to the family we could not think of life without
him. He is intelligent, very well behaved and has such a character.
Our dog sitters and dog walker say they have never met such a well behaved
lab pup and he is their favourite dog to sit and walk, he is constantly
getting comments on his fantastic coat.
The bow tie was for his first birthday.
So thanks Frank he is testament to your fine work there, and you never
know we may be back soon for a little brother or sister!!
Many Thanks Once again

Re: Basswood Gabi (Bella)
From: The Martins Family
Hi Frank,
Just writing to thank you for our wonderful addition to our family.
Bella made the 190 mile journey home with no problems and was greeted
by the rest of our family with open arms.
She has only been home a week and has cracked toilet training!
She is everything and more than we could have wished for.
Attached is the “ I am so cute I would never chew anything” photo.
Thanks Again
