Letters to Basswood 3

 frank@basswood.co.uk
Occasionally we hear from people who have bought one (or more) of our puppies.
These letters give us much pleasure.
Here are a few of the pictures that have been send to us with extracts from some of the letters.
Please be sure to identify your own dog by its Basswood name if you write to us
-- we can't always remember!

Re: Basswood Viktor

Hi - just a note to say thanks again for a wonderful dog.  Jet settled in right away and is happy in his new family and is now 21kg.  I enclose a photo of him. We took him to Devon last week where he stayed in our room of the hotel.  He loved the beach and didn't want to leave the hotel. He enjoys a run out in the fields and has learned lots of tricks.

Best Regards Paul and Family.

Re: Basswood Belle

Hello Frank

Today we have had Belle for a whole year and cannot believe how quickly the time has passed. It seems as if she has always been here. She is a wonderful and much cherished dog. We are lucky to have found her!

Enclosed is a picture of her on Beater's Day earlier this year.

Re:  Basswood Rhine

Hi Frank,
Just a letter to let you know how Basswood Rhine (Floyd) is coming along. He is a much loved member of the family and the training is going well.  He has always been excellent on his walks and swims everyday.

Floyd is 8 months old now and has grown into a very good looking Lab.  He loves to play with other dogs and is obsessed with any kind of ball.  If he see's anyone playing with a ball you cannot get him back until he has that ball in his mouth or at his feet.

He loves to chew but fortunately it is limited to the garden even though the trees, shed, kennel and anything else he can get his teeth into don't agree!

We have attached a recent picture of Floyd on one of his walks.

Thanks again, Gary, Maria & Scott

Re: "Maisie" - Basswood Alyssum

Dear Frank,
Thought you'd like to see a picture of Maisie with her friends. We're so pleased with her, Nobody believes that she is only 10 months old as she is so laid back! She loves training classes & has just passed her kennel club good citizen bronze award. She is an amazing diver and just loves swimming. Thank you so much - we couldn't have asked for a better dog.

Dear Frank,
Thought you might like to see this photo of Maisie relaxing on holiday in Devon. She had a great time, she enjoyed boating, swimming in the sea & visited lots of pubs! She is still being very well behaved (well, most of the time!) and has loads of admirers.
Hope yours are well,

Kind regards Lisa Bramley

Re: Millie & Daisy

Hello, hope you are well and that Dove isn't missing her pups! I'm sure she is enjoying the peace. Just thought that you would like to know how 'the girls' are getting on. We are delighted with them. they are just lovely.
Walking them is very difficult as we get stopped every few yards in order they can be cuddled and admired! They are growing at an amazing rate and now
look like dogs (but smaller), legs everywhere!! Daisy is very boisterous and confident and into everything and Millie is more timid - a little submissive but she will get more confident I am sure. Daisy is definitely the leader - first into everything and first to greet people and also first to stalk and trash the bathroom mat, eat the carpet and bring in small trees from the garden. Millie is great for a cuddle and never far behind her sister. Generally though they are very good - they are very relaxed.

We are now starting to explore the walks and the girls are beginning to get more confident and enjoy charging across the fields. Anyway, we just thought that you would like to know how well they are
thanks again for them - they are just perfect!

Thought you might like to see the lovely girls. Cracking pair of dogs - very happy and very different. Millie is still quite timid and Daisy (aka
Stinker) is full of love of life. Both beautiful though.
